I came across Mountain Carpets’ website and was intrigued by the idea of their mobile showroom. I only wish this concept had existed before, as some of my other flooring choices may have been different in the past! I got in touch with Tommy, who arranged to visit me at my convenience. This was fantastic for me, as my working hours aren’t what most would consider normal. I had a browse through the various carpet options, and was impressed by the extensive range available. It’s surprising what a difference it makes to be able to examine the different shades in the light of your own house. Tommy showed a lot of patience while I was choosing the best shade and texture, switching lights on and off, opening and closing curtains to make sure I made the right selection. The carpet had to be ‘grandson-proof’ too! Eventually I settled on my favourite carpet and booked in for fitting. On the day of the fitting, Tommy and his crew arrived bang on time, and were the consummate professionals throughout. I was working from home on the day, and left them to it. I can honestly say the noise was kept to the barest minimum, and I was able to crack on in the office uninterrupted. As for the finished article, what a fantastic job Mountain Carpets have done for me. The carpet feels fantastic underfoot and looks an absolute treat. It has brightened my room up no end. I struggle with natural light in my lounge, so being able to get the shade right by comparing samples at home, as opposed to the light in a showroom, was an absolute godsend. I have already recommended Mountain Carpets to many people, and will continue to do so.
