New carpet
Project Information
Mountain Carpets and Flooring recently completed this beautiful carpet and flooring installation for a customer in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, bringing a classic herringbone look to both floors of the home.
For the stairs and landing, we fitted a luxurious herringbone carpet from the Lewis Abbot range, with taped edging on the stairs to create an elegant runner. The result is a welcoming finish that adds warmth, texture and character.
On the ground floor, we installed Karndean Knight Tile Lime Washed Oak (SM-KP99), laid in a herringbone pattern. Its soft oak tones and subtle weathered effect bring the character of wood to the space, with the durability and easy maintenance of luxury vinyl flooring—ideal for everyday life in a busy home.
Together, these complementary finishes create a flowing look, pairing the comfort of carpet upstairs with practical, stylish flooring downstairs.
